Eclipse SE
HELP!
My name is Bob Meyers and I am here to help you! I am also your host for helping with all the features of Eclipse SE, related software and related services. This site is a repository for absolutely everything related to Eclipse SE, which now includes all the modules that work in tandem with Eclipse SE! To that end, I invite all solo practitioners, vendors, law firms and anyone else that has a vested interest in maintaining a warehouse of Eclipse SE-related information please contact me, as I am open to adding to this site as needed and/or necessary.

More importantly, I am:

  • A Certified Eclipse SE software trainer, for all versions
  • A litigation/practice support consultant for cases involving Eclipse SE, large or small
  • An Eclipse SE technical support specialist
  • An Eclispe SE software referrer
Welcome to all things Eclipse SE!
Eclipse SE HELP!
Update!

I am guessing (hoping) at this point all Eclipse SE owners/users know that Eclipse SE is getting sunsetted (meaning Ipro is no longer selling it or supporting it) as of 1/31/2023. Ipro (the company) seems to be willing to let folks keep access to it until SE users can migrate their data and/or archive cases.

The evolution of Eclipse SE is now Local Discovery. It looks different, and some good news. The review of documents hasn't changed at all, so reviewers will need minimal training (if at all) to continue to review documents. Most of the administrative tasks are essentially the same, except Ipro makes us walk through wizards to do much of what we do in SE, it's not just more steps to do so.

Perhaps the biggest changes are this:

  • Users are managed on a website
  • Licensing is per user now, as opposed to concurrent
  • The 'standard' package for LD includes:
    • Deduplication (it used to cost $$ as an add-on)
    • Print (for high-volume printing)
    • Publish (for exporting datasets for outside parties to review in a 'free' database viewer)
    • One license of Trial Director

On that note, if you need help archiving cases and/or migrating cases (to LD, Ipro's cloud, or beyond), please let me know - I'd love to help! When you have a lot of cases to archive, given your current workload, it can be a challenge for sure. I am running a special to help reduce the costs associated with this task, so I am ready to help!

Whichever version you own, I can help!
Eclipse SE help, of any sort
Eclipse SE
Eclipse SE is a software that was created as the successor to what now are referred to as the legacy discovery management software (i.e., Summation). I am the first to be certified to train all previous and current versions of the software, so look forward to helping any way I can!
